Who Are You Grateful For?

WHO are you thankful for this week?

It’s been interesting talking to many of you over the last few days. Most often, when asking people WHAT they are thankful for, their answer is a WHO. We’re thankful for the people in our circle – family, friends, our teams, and clients.

It seems fitting, then, that we introduce you to someone new on the OrangeBall team that we are thankful for: Madi Fortun.

We’ve said before that we hire around our core values. If you’re going to be part of this team, it matters that our core values align. Things like “Seek to Serve” and “Positive on Purpose” have to be part of your DNA, or you’ll be very uncomfortable here.

Hiring Madi, we had a good idea from our initial conversations that, based on our core values, she was going to be a great fit. Over and over again, she has proven that to be correct. She works hard, aims to please, and cares deeply about the quality of her work. Best of all, she brings joy to OrangeBall.

You can’t fake core values, and Madi Fortun is the real deal.

So, what kind of work is Madi doing on our team? She is a graphic designer who also brings video experience to the table. She is using her creativity to develop social content, logo and website design, and steps in anyplace else we need her. Being a younger creative, she brings new energy and ideas to the table every day – the kind of energy and ideas that make our team stronger.

As we hire new team members and get to know them, we’re always curious about what they do in their downtime. Madi enjoys drawing, playing video games, and as she shared, “Trying new things! Recently I have branched out and tried D&D (Dungeons and Dragons), and I really enjoy working on model kits with friends as well!”

As we shared in the beginning, when we think of WHO we’re thankful for this year, Madi is on the list. So are Kayla, Kegan, Ciara, Sean, Michelle, Matthew, Ryan, and everyone else who has brought Bounce to OrangeBall and our clients this year.

One more person we’re thankful for? You!
